One last shot of my favorite leaf in NYC
driving across the country - be back to posting in about a week
Update 2010/11/04: Sorry for the long gap in posting, but I'm having computer problems. I can't wait to share some of the scenes from my drive so hopefully I'll get things fixed in the next week or two.

Flowers unfurling
I couldn't decide which version others might prefer, so here's all three. I like the top one myself. Below is the original, uncropped, with default white balance and all that.

Seeds of a plant in Santa Clara
PS: Moving from the Bronx back to the San Francisco area in a few days. As excited I am at the prospect of being back home and all that comes with it, I'm really sad to be leaving New York. I feel as though I was meant to do something here and that I failed to find out what that was. I still find riding the subways interesting... Already scheming of ways to wend my way back here in a more permanent fashion at some point.
